i woke up from a night of rest
but before i could go and get dressed
i wondered what would suit me best
as i went out on my way
well i never, ever would have guessed
that i'd be gasping from my chest
when i noticed we had not been blessed
with a forecast for today

there's no weather today
outside's not dark, or light, or grey
it's not cold or hot, humid or dry
it ain't a clear or cloudy sky
not windy, calm, or in between
it's like nothing i have ever seen
all the meterologists they say
there's no weather today, yeah

i put on a jacket and a vest
and i then i carried out my quest
to go and stage a huge protest
of our climate, or lack there of
according to my balloon test
it really should be cloudy lest
there be some pressure from the west
but nothing is above

everyone is so confused
this fact can't be denied
lots of people just gave up
and spent the day inside
there's no need for the weather channel
no need for a hat
the doppelar radar just exploded
now it's raining that

it would really be the best
if the rain cloud button would be pressed
there is no such thing; i jest
don't have that kind of gear
i don't want to be a pest
but today has got my brain all messed
weather added so much zest
into the atmosphere
